EduCluster Finland to establish the Finnish International School in INDIA is an important starting point. Our first school together will be a state-of-the-art school in India, where we are delighted to be synergizing Finnish best practices with our own Indian educational approaches. We see this as an opportunity to take a big step forward in improving the education situation locally and introducing an internationally advanced education system in India.
Established in 2010, EduCluster Finland Ltd engages in global operations pioneering expertise over the entire Finnish educational spectrum. ECF co-develops leading-edge educational solutions with its three owners: the University of Jyväskylä, JAMK University of Applied Sciences, and Jyväskylä Educational Consortium Gradia.
ECF has partnered with several education providers across the globe and has operated fast-growing Qatar–Finland International School since its foundation in 2014. It currently operates or co-operates with four Finnish International Schools overseas.

Ms. Minna Repo graduated with her MA in Education from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 1993.During her career in education, she has held various positions from a teacher to principal and lead expert and has gained first-hand experience in what setting up an international school means. Her work together with the pioneer mind-set have taken her across the world from the smallest rural schools in the Finnish countryside to the international metropolis of the Middle East.”

Sini is an experienced teacher and educator with a deep understanding of the Finnish educational system and educational leadership practices. Her expertise includes extensive know-how of curriculum development processes which focus on active participation and collaboration. Sini has innovated and implemented teaching and learning approaches that enable interaction, individualisation, flipped learning, and assessment based on goals and learning processes. Over her career, Sini has also specialised in special education, school development, and competence building, in Finland as well as in GCC countries and Asia. Sini has experience of working in multilingual environments, across different fields of education and with various cooperation partners.
HELI PARHIALA

Heli Parhiala (MA) is an experienced teacher and educator with an explicit view of the cornerstones of Finnish educational system from a practical point of view. Her main areas of expertise are in developing and evaluating special education needs teaching in preschool and primary education. She has deep knowledge surrounding the identification of disabilities and in turn meeting the needs of diverse learners. In addition to her career in education in Finland, Heli has also worked as an expert and as a teacher in an Emirati-Finnish partnership project in Abu Dhabi developing the local educational system and practises. She is familiar with working within multi-professional as well as multi-cultural teams in developing education best practises. Heli has hands-on experience in teacher education and professional development activities related to improving special education needs teaching procedures. Her main interests lie in supporting and creating inclusive and individualised school level practices.
